The Power of True Repentance
Repentance is so key to Jesus’ ministry that he began his first sermon with the call to action, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 4:17). Jesus’ call to repentance was admonishing mankind to turn away from sin and towards God by living according to his kingdom, which is righteousness, peace and joy. Once you understand that repentance is agreeing with God and his word, you will begin to experience that power in everyday living. This power will keep you from becoming a repeat offender and will enable you to live victoriously over sin. Evangelist Donna Faulkner’s ministry serves other churches through training on discipleship and how to expand the kingdom of God in everyday living. Donna was ordained under the Apostolic Presbytery in 2015 by Apostles Royal and Demetrice Mason, and currently serves under their senior leadership at Antioch Christian Church located in Wilmington, Delaware where she functions as an evangelist, teacher, revivalist and prophetic team member. Although her primary focus is evangelism, Donna also provides personal and/or group counseling in the areas of emotional healing, substance abuse and interpersonal relationships. As a five-fold ministry gift, Evangelist Donna is answering the call of God to help equip the church to do the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13) by engaging and influencing the culture.
